OBJECTIVES: After this course, the participants will be able to: (1) Properly select the right size and type of pump based on the liquid to be transferred, and the systems head. (2) Calculate the Total dynamic Head (TDH) and NPSH available. (3) Properly operate, troubleshoot, and maintain pumps and their associated pipes/fittings.
TRAINING METHODOLOGY: (1) Lecture with powerpoint slides, videos, and animations. (2) Design Workshop of a typical pumping system. (3) Question and Answer Open Forum.
