FORMULATION OF AN ENERGY MASTER PLAN For The Sustainable Urban Infrastructure Development In Metropolitan CAGAYAN DE ORO
Engr. LOPE COLUMNA signed a one-year (2019-2020) Contract with CPRM Consultans, Inc. to be the Energy Specialist to formulate an Energy Master Plan for the Sustainable Urban Infrastructure Development in Metropolitan Cagayan De Oro.
CPRM Consultans, Inc. is the firm hired by the Philippine National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) as their overall Consultant for the Metro CDO Project. NEDA shall be the Executing Agency (EA) while the NEDA X shall be the Implementing Agency (IA).
In the formulation of an Energy Master Plan, the overall objective of Engr. Columna is to Make Metropolitan Cagayan De Oro a World-Class Mega City with the achievable Lowest Price of Power and Electricity.
Every True Leader main Goal is to Preserve and Enhance the Beauty of the Living Earth/Environment. Since EVERYTHING is affected by ENERGY, this can be done via ENERGY EFFICENCY in all its Generation and Utilization.
The concerned LGU is presented and informed with all these Best Practices and Paradigm Shifts. They can opt to apply them in their respective areas, or not. They can choose all; or one, two, of these. That is, each LGU is given the Power and Responsibility to choose and apply which one is applicable in their respective areas of concern.
There are lots of New Ideas, Concepts, Technologies, Best Practices, and Paradigm Shifts in Management, Governance, and Engineering that are introduced here. These Best Practices and Paradigm Shifts are all based on Reality, Practicality, Safety, Environment-Friendly Practices, and Life-Sustaining Innovations.
In other words, to Preserve and Enhance the Beauty of the Earth and assure the Prosperous and Continuing Existence of Mankind. Thus, this Report discusses one of the Priority Areas (that is, ENERGY which affects EVERYTHING), for the information and cooperation of concerned Local Government Units (LGUs). This is about SUSTAINABLE ENERGY in their respective areas.
CULTURE CHANGE. This should be the FIRST and FOREMOST of the Energy Master Plan for Metropolitan Cagayan De Oro. The Goal is for Every Person’s Concern and Mindset to be that of ENERGY-EFFICIENCY CONSCIOUS.
CULTURE refers to an organization's values, beliefs, and behaviors. In other words, CULTURE greatly affects the VISION of an individual Person, a Group of Persons, and/or Organization. Organizations with STRONG POSITIVE CULTURES achieve higher results because employees sustain focus both on what to do and how to properly do it.
